I'm participating in today's Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's prompt is:
Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For The Rest of 2015
Typically when we book bloggers make this list in December/January each year it's pretty heavy for the first half of the year - especially because we don't always have covers for books pubbed later at that point. So today we're focusing on what we are excited about for the rest of the year. Let's jump in!
I feel like I have been waiting decades for this book. I love this series, and am so excited to jump back in.
The Grisha series was so much fun to read. I can't wait to be introduced to the author's next work!
8. Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer
Release Date: 11/10/15
Release Date: 11/10/15
Gah! I've been holding out on this series because I decided to depart from my usual M.O. and wait until they were all released and read the whole series all at once. Methinks it's finally time to start. I've heard so many good things!
The Kiss of Deception was a breakout novel of 2014 for me. I've been dying to read this sequel ever since that fateful night when I read for about eight hours straight to finish TKOD. BRING IT ON.
I'm currently reading another Ness novel (A Monster Calls) and loving it. This premise is something that I've been wanting to read about for some time now, and I think Ness is just the author to tackle the idea.
5. Career of Evil (Cormoran Strike #3) by Robert Galbraith
Release Date: Autumn 2015
Release Date: Autumn 2015
It's J.K. Rowling. I'll read anything she writes. (No cover image, release date, or Amazon link available yet.)
Carson's Girl of Fire and Thorns was such a phenomenal series. I am so happy she's publishing another series, even if it has nothing to do with GoFaT.
Because I can never get enough Maas. Also, the ending of Heir of Fire about killed me.
Considering I spent a large portion of my childhood pretending I was Christine Daae, this Phantom of the Opera retelling is extremely high on my list. And, if I'm not mistaken, it's a duology, not a trilogy. So this is final installment!
GAH. Fangirl is one of my favorite books of all time. I've been coveting this book from the moment I heard it was coming. GIMME GIMME GIMME.
What are you looking forward to reading in the next six months?
