Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table

I'm participating in today's Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's prompt is:

Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table

So, let's pretend that I'm headed back to school this week.  If I were in school with all the fictional characters I read about (and not making endless batches of Macaroni and Cheese like I actually do during lunch time these days) these are the people who would sit at my lunch table:

10. Hermione Granger
I often did homework during lunch in high school.  Needless to say, Hermione and I would be BFFs.

9. Ron Weasley
Because where Hermione goes, Ron goes.

8. Harry Potter
Because where Ron goes, Harry goes.

7. Ginny Weasley
Because where Harry goes, Ginny goes.

6. Neville Longbottom
Because it's turning into a Gryffindor party up in here.

5. Luna Lovegood
Because you need a Ravenclaw to keep order amid the hot-headed Gryffindors and the inevitable nargles.

4. Fred and George Weasley
Because once it starts turning into a crowd, Fred and George will be drawn to the action

3. Professor McGonagall
Because she is far too responsible to let all those Weasleys in one room together without adult supervision.

2. Cedric Diggory
Because it doesn't get good until a ghost shows up.

1. Hagrid
Because he always manages to turn up at happy moments.

Did I just make the student body of Hogwarts eat lunch with me in a cafeteria in my head?  Why yes.  Yes I did.

    1. Wouldn't he, though? So long as he left his rock cakes at home... :)

  3. Ah, the Harry Potter theme. Great minds DO think alike! :o) This is an amazing list. I love how we both went for Harry Potter, yet we have different characters most of the time. There are just so many amazing people to choose from!

    1. I know! I'd be happy sitting next to just about anyone in the Potter universe. Except for Umbridge, of course.

    2. Unless I had a centaur on my other side, that is. Watching her squirm might be worth it. (But even so, I'd still probably choose anyone else from the Potterverse before her.)

    3. Hahaha, I forgot about that for a second. You are delightfully evil!

    4. Hahaha, forgive me my evilness! Side note: I strongly suspected that Pottermore would put me in Slytherin, but I ended up in Ravenclaw. Who knew.

    5. Ha! That means we are Ravenclawesome buddies!
